Preschool
Age: 3 years old
Our preschool program for 3-year-olds introduces foundational skills in a warm and playful setting.
- Faith-based learning that encourages kindness, sharing, and self-expression
- Language development through circle time, music, and read-alouds
- Hands-on centers for science, art, dramatic play, and sensory exploration
- Growth in fine and gross motor skills through art, outdoor play, and Minds in Motion

Pre-Kindergarten
Age: 4 & 5 years old
Designed for older 4s and younger 5s, our Pre-K program prepares students for Kindergarten readiness.
- Early literacy and phonemic awareness using Heggerty and Handwriting Without Tears
- Math and logic development through counting, sorting, and classifying
- Creative problem-solving through free and structured play
- Daily movement with Minds in Motion to strengthen brain-body connection
- Opportunities to grow in memory, comprehension, and imagination

Spiritual Development in Every Day
At Holy Family, faith is woven into everything we do. Preschoolers are introduced to the love of Christ through:

Preschool Goals: What Your Child Will Learn

Aftercare Through Eagle Care
We offer flexible after-school care for families needing extended hours.
- Available Monday – Friday, from 3 – 6 p.m.
- $2.25 per 30 minutes
- A structured, nurturing environment to relax, play, and build friendships

Mrs. Jennifer Kannapel
Director & TeacherMrs. Kannapel holds a Master’s Degree in Education and has taught Preschool through 2nd Grade. A proud Catholic school graduate, she brings warmth, experience, and a deep belief in the value of a Catholic foundation.

Mrs. Sara Raelson
TeacherWith a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and a background in both ministry and classroom instruction, Mrs. Raelson is passionate about hands-on learning and sparking curiosity in young children.

Mrs. Julie Hallal
TeacherA lifelong parishioner and alumna of Holy Family, Mrs. Hallal began teaching here in 2001. With years of experience in Kindergarten and Preschool, she brings enthusiasm and a deep love of learning to her classroom.

Mrs. Amanda Townsend
TeacherCurrently completing her degree in Early Childhood Education, Mrs. Townsend brings creativity and joyful discovery to the classroom. Her Catholic faith shapes her approach to teaching and family-centered learning.
