HFS gives $1,500 to Hunter’s Heroes

After Holy Family students collectively raised $1,500 through the Coins for Community initiative, Mrs. Bratcher’s 8th grade class decided Hunter Riggs would be a worthy recipient of the donation. Hunter is a kindergartener from Elizabeth, IN who was diagnosed with epilepsy as a preschooler. So far, treatment has been ineffective and he regularly experiences seizures. The money will be used to help pay for medical and travel expenses as they visit new doctors in Cincinnati.

Hunter was shy and kept hiding in his coat, but him and his mom were both very excited to meet the students. We at Holy Family are proud to have students who love to serve the community!
