SCRIP is a program that buys discounted gift cards from your favorite national and local merchants who want to support non-profit organizations. Holy Family PTO purchases these discounted cards from SCRIP and resells them to you at retail face value. The difference in retail face value and the discounted purchase price then becomes a NO COST fundraiser for Holy Family!
The SCRIP program raises funds from money you are ALREADY SPENDING! When a family purchases SCRIP gift cards to retailers like Panera Bread, Office Depot, Dillard’s, Toys R US and more, a percentage (sometimes as high as 17°/o) goes to the school.

Here’s how it works:
You normally shop at Macy’s for clothing or gifts for your family and plan to spend $400.
- Step 1: Order your $400 in gift cards on the SCRIP form.
- Step 2: PTO orders the cards from SCRIP – paying $360.
- Step 3: The $40 (10% discount) goes to the school budget.
- Step 4: Your $400 in gift cards are available for pick-up in the school office.
- Step 5: Shop!
If you are interested in using SCRIP for shopping or as gifts, please look for the SCRIP order form in the “Wednesday envelope”, office or church lobby. Just fill out your name, choose your favorite retailers and return a check made payable to Holy Family to the school office.
Please mark your envelope with SCRIP. Depending on order volume, it may take 1-2 weeks to receive your gift cards. Also, stop in the office anytime during school hours… We may have the cards that you need in stock!
