Welcome back, one and all from our inaugural 2-week Fall Break! It was quite different coming back to the chilly weather and dark morning skies, as the Lord has provided for us a beautiful change in the seasons. I hope this extended break from school provided all of you some time together as family. Whether you traveled or stayed close to home, I hope your children are returning refreshed and prepared for the weeks ahead! A few reminders:
Parent conferences, HSA Chili Supper, and Scholastic Book Fair are all this week! Report cards are available online beginning Tuesday evening through the MSP parent portal.
Support the In Heaven’s Eyes Clothing Drive (see flyers at doors) and Youth Ministry NCYC Trip (school office or booth at parent conferences)
Cooler weather means jackets, coats, scarves, etc. Please make sure all such items are marked with your child’s name, or they may end up in the In Heaven’s Eyes clothing drive… Fall weather also means the possibility of a school cancellation or delay; we will continue to use the Schoolreach communication system and local TV stations for announcements.
Please keep in your prayers Classroom Aide, Mrs. Becky Kruer, who is having her second knee surgery this year, and Mr. Richard LaDuke, who recently had heart procedures completed. Both are expected to be out several weeks and appreciate your prayers and well-wishes.
Have a great week! Mr. E
